  38. If you ever need to free up what little RAM LANtastic uses, you can now
  39. remove LANtastic's network software from memory without rebooting.

  43. Now LANtastic is not only easier to install, it also allows you to set up
  44. your whole network -- servers, workstations, and user accounts -- when you
  45. install the system software. With just one disk and one manual, LANtastic

  58. The NET RUN command lets you remotely issue commands to a network server.

  65. Now you can shutdown a server remotely. You can even schedule shutdown for a
  66. future time and users will be warned at key times prior to the shutdown.

  70. If you have a UPS connected to your server, LANtastic will now work in unison
  71. with it to safeguard your network. If the UPS signals a server that a
  72. shutdown is imminent, LANtastic will warn all the network users, give them
  73. time to log off, then close all the network files so that no one loses any
  74. work. If the power returns, LANtastic NOS will tell the users theirs nothing
  75. to worry about.

  79. If you want to set up a dedicated server, the ALONE program will allow it to
  80. service the network with unsurpassed performance. By side-stepping DOS, ALONE

  87. and access rights. Users can then log in with any username that has the ACCT

  91. and access rights.
